SWIM WITH THE SHARK

***Please inform us of any special requests, needs, and/or medical conditions in the box below so that Theater of the Sea Employees may prepare for your visit.

• Participants must NOT BE PREGNANT if participating in any in-water programs.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the program start time to account for traffic and check in.
• Participants must not have contact with any WILD marine mammals within 48 hours of participation to avoid disease transmission to our animals.
• Jewelry and/or loose items must be removed and stored securely prior to arrival.
• If you choose to wear them, only mineral based sunscreen (zinc or titanium dioxide) and environmentally friendly insect repellent are allowed.
• All in-water programs take place in a natural salt-water lagoon.
• Photo Notice: Photographers and videographers are limited. If you would like photos taken of your experience, arrive early and ask to pre-purchase a photo package when you check in. This is on a first come, first served basis based on photographer availability. Non-participating guests may observe and take photos of their party’s program from designated areas with general admission to the park/shows.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT:

A parent, appointed guardian, or family / friend age 15 or older is required to be a paying participant with any child age 7 and younger for all in-water programs. For minors, online liability waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

***All programs includes general admission to the dolphin, sea lion, and parrot shows, fish & reptile tour, lagoon-side beach, and bottomless boat ride. Allow 2 - 3 hours before or after your program to see the shows.

• Snorkel gear for swim programs.
• Animal Care Staff must approve any personal gear.

1. Fins are required.
2. Masks are optional.
3. Snorkels not permitted.
4. Life jackets may affect content of Deep Water Dolphin Swim Shallow Water Swim recommended.
5. Wetsuits can be rented here if desired.
6. Water shoes provided for shark and ray swim. (can be worn in sea lion swim and dolphin shallow water swim but not provided)
   

• Changing rooms, outdoor showers, and lockers. (locks can be rented for a refundable deposit)
• Towels not provided but can be purchased in gift shop.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:

• Program cost is refundable only if the program is cancelled at least 7 days prior to the date of scheduled participation.
• Programs are not cancelled due to cold or inclement weather.
• Participants must be here for trainers to determine cancellation or postponement due to lightning.
• Refunds will NOT be issued for patrons who are too cold, scared of animals or the water, change their mind, or otherwise choose not to participate.
• Theater of the Sea reserve the right to cancel or amend program content and price without notice.
