BOAT RENTAL RULES & REGULATIONS
RENTERS MUST HAVE PREVIOUS BOATING EXPERIENCE. The Boatyard reserves the right to refuse to rent without adequate experience. Refunds WILL NOT be given if customer is unable to operate vessel in a safe manner
RENTER MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 23 YEARS
RENTER MUST BRING Valid Government Issued Photo I.D. that includes date of birth. No photocopies will be accepted
MUST BRING 1 Credit Card per reservation at the time of check in. $1,000 security deposit on a major credit card (MC, Visa, Discover) is required. Rental Boat operator do not accept AMEX for security deposits
Florida Law requires anyone born after Jan 1st, 1988 MUST HAVE A BOATER SAFETY CERTIFICATE TO OPERATE THE BOAT. CLICK HERE TO OBTAIN YOUR BOATERS SAFETY CERTIFICATE ONLINE. No photo copies will be accepted
CHECK IN no later than 15 min before rental time
The Renter MUST HAVE A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE ENGLISH
A list of private captains for hire is available
No Refunds on early returns
CANCELLATION POLICY:
All cancellations made 48 hours prior to the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund
If cancellation occurs due to weather conditions or mechanical problems you will receive a full refund
Rental Boat Operator reserves the right to change the customer to another date or to a different vessel which is comparable or an upgrade at no additional cost
Cancellations made on the same day or with less than 48-hour notice are NON-REFUNDABLE
Rentals booked within 48 hours of the scheduled rental time are NON-REFUNDABLE
No shows and or captains without previous outboard boating experience are NON-REFUNDABLE
